    4500 grafts DR. Koray Erdogan

    Hey guys,

i had my transplant with Dr. Koray 1 1/2 months ago.
So still in very very early stages, but i cant wait to see the result
I had a "bad" transplant via FUT in the past. 1300 grafts. Dr. Koray said they all grow, so that the good news but it was onls a density of 20FU/cm2.. If u know something bout transplants, 20FUs/cm2 is not enough for good coverage.

3-4 weeks after the transplant with Dr. Koray i lost maybe 60% of my transplants.
40% start growing until today so thats pretty nice. I already can see some new hairs coming out of the skin everywhere on the recipient area.
    So i think im a fast grower.. ( I hope so :P)

Some infos to my transplant with Dr. Koray:

    My hair groupings: 2,36FUs/cm2
    Micron: 50
    Transplanted area: 120cm2
On Finasteride since 1 1/2 years
So i have 5800 grafts + a 15FUs/cm2 density of my natural hair which shoul grow out to. That should be pretty dense.

The crown is untouched because i want density.
So a small crown (maybe 30cm2) is open but there is some hair and i can use toppik or dermmatch there or go for a third transplant to make it perfect but i guess if this transplant works out i will not go for the third one in the next few years.. maybe later on..

So here u can see some pics after my transplant.
Somewhere in this forum is a thread where i showed some before pics..

So what do you guys think about my procedure?
    Also some before pics.

    All the best

Edit: If you have questions, feel free to ask me!

It looks really nice and natural and theres not thinning in the donor area

I had a bad FUE hair transplant in 2014 so I'm planning to have an FUE Repair with Dr.Koray or Dr.Wesley, but should i wait for Dr Carlos Wesley's piloscopy ?

Because my hairline(right side) is too low so i dont want to waste my hair with laser removal, maybe scarless surgery could help and use those hair to add more density

Noob21, you went to one of the masters of the industry & you're on finasteride. I'd say there's a pretty decent chance you'll get a phenomenal outcome. Please continue to update your pics as time goes by. Best of luck.

Dr. Koray says, i will be very satisfied with the result and i believe in his words
He seems to be a very friendly guy and very confident in his work and stuff.

On the first transplant day they did only the frontal third and it looks so damn fu***** dense.. If this all grows... it will be an amazing transformation for me.
You should defenitely eat a good breakfast, some sugar and u really need the energy, because its a long day and the following day is also very long (8:00-16:30).
You should sleep enough on the days before, because the first days after the transplant were horrible to sleep.. Youre afraid that you fall asleep and touch your grafts or anything like that. But every day it gets better and after 5-6 days you should be fine to sleep normal.
The only thing that hurts are the anestesia insiscions... But they really hurt.. I would give them a 8/10.
I can recommend the ASMED clinic by now and i hope i will recommend them after 12 month to!

One thing that was very annoying was the flight back... Every single person on the airpot looks strange as you and on the passcontrol. But you will never ever see this people again.. So give a fu** what they and others think about it.
Its your life, your body and as long as you want it and have the money to do it, GO FOR IT!
Balding is a very hard thing for all of us.
And if a transplant can give us our confidence and life back.. its 100% WORTH IT!
you have only one life. So live it

Again, questions and all input is welcome!

I will post my results 3 months post op, 6 months, 9 mmonths and 12 months.

Looks good to me. I'm booked with Erdogan on 8 December myself, and really hoping you have a great outcome.

Hey Noob21 AND ersko72, how are both of your results at this point now? Any pictures? I currently live in Germany and was thinking about booking a procedure with Dr. Koray also.

                Thanks in advance!

Amazing, clean work and I am sure you will be happy with your results. He is a leader in this industry and his results are incredible. The one thing I am always wondering is - when they harvest FUE grafts high up, close to the thinning crown, is this still a safe area? I suppose if you've been maintaining with finasteride it is, but I am always curious of this with other cases. Some doctors harvest grafts super high up.

                    Hey guys!

Im 5 months post op and things are really starting now i guess.
Month 5-7 will double my result.
I have so much stubble hairs under the longer hairs.

                    I have a challenge against myself^^.
I try to not looking in the mirror for 2 weeks (im actually on day 4 now).
I do this because its so hard to see the daily differences.
I can wear a hat for work so no problem in that.

Also i started Minoxidil to speed the growth a bit 1 week ago.

So im 5 months post op.

Let me know what you guys think.
Will this turn out a succees or not?

Awesome, Noob21. I've had a bunch of HTs by Dr. Cole and usually I don't start noticing any growth until exactly month 5. So yeah, you should see fully realized results in the next 3 months. It's exciting! Keep us posted!

Hi Noob, good looking hair now. Quick question as I have looked into Dr Erdogan but it’s way out of my budget. On one of your photos there seems to be a scar on the back of your head. Have you had FUT treatment before? If so did you regret it or pleased with that outcome and what grade can you shave your hair to so the scar is not noticeable? Thanks,
