In other words hairloss cure is not in 5 year agenda but it doesnt mean that there are no developments/investments happening. Let me remind you all that most of the time cures find by accident. This is ust so naive to give a timeline about it. it could take another 100years or 1 month...

            this is seriously funno tho. the only people that make posts like these saying its naive to think a cure is going to take less than a decade or two are the ones praying and hoping to god at night that there'll be a cure ASAP. "1 month"?

            get over yourself.

              yes if someone could find the cure by accident then it could be a month, excluding patent...etc. in that situation we all see the smoke coming out first... Anyways in pharma we plan long terms projects in the pipeline so 5 year time is long term and predictable....

                  Here an update from them;

                  They expect Shisheido to start in a few weeks. Replicel is aiming for next year.

                  Check how he says that they are basically directing this treatment to be a "functional cure" and talks about maintaining baseline status unlike rogaine.

                  Seems more directed like a preventative treatment. It's really good that they doing such a lengthy trial. Only that will determine if it can actually maintain.

                    Yeah they're calling out 2018 so soon considering they're only starting trials now. If it does maintain its gucci for the low norwoods.. too bad it won't help for diffusers in the sense we'll still be predisposed to hairloss on steroids

                      Yes this is basically an unproven treatment for stopping the hair loss. It won't offer much in terms of regrowth.

                              That is already a cure for people who haven't started balding. In the next phase they might find in their trial how to reverse high NW
