    Balding at age 19?

Hi guys. My name is Greg and I am 19. All my life I've always had a large forehead/high hairline and I became most concerned about it around the age of 15. Since then I have always wore my hair long with bangs to cover up the embarrassing mass of my forehead. Just recently I began cutting my hair short and noticed some thinning around one of the temples. I'm not sure if it's even bad enough to worry about right now but for about the last 9 months not a day has gone by where I dont stress about the fact that I might me losing my hair. My dad lost most of his hair by the age of 50 but my moms side has a strong history of hair. If I'm not losing hair by MPB in losing it from all this stress it's been causing me! Please help!

Your hair looks perfect, so I wouldn't worry if i were you.

Maybe make a photo every 6 months or so an compare them to each other. If you start losing hair, get on propecia.

I agree, your hair looks perfect. A little bit of recession is normal, when transitioning into adulthood.

Also, I agree with everything else Mpbman just said.

worry about somthn else in life ur hair looks fine. ur not gonna get much support from ppl here cause ppl here are actually bald or losing their hair. ur not.... but if ur father lost all his hair by 50 then its pretty likely u will to but I wudnt worry about that for at least another decade and by then there will be far more treatments available....

Hey man. I know exactly how you feel - especially the part about not being able to stop obsessing about it once you noticed something different. I went through the exact same thing. The only difference was that my hairline actually was receding.

I agree with the other guys in that you don't seem to have anything at all to worry about. Your hairline will slowly change as you get older, and it looks like that's all that's happening. So try to keep your mind from obsessing about it and enjoy your youth. (And learn to love your forehead while you're at it! )
