The last 9 years of research(since 2006) by dr cotsraelis team has led to vast amounts of information about hair loss. Hopefully some of these findings translate into better treatments or a full cure. I really believe that wounding with the right chemical will work.

A couple months ago Puretech raised 250 million. I remember reading somewhere that it will be used to give a boost to product candidates that are closer to commercialization
If protection of IP was the big problem holding follica back some of the money 'll go to them i imagine

I hope and I think it is linked with TLR3 luis Garza discovery and that they are testing it
Few different TLR3 agonists are already selled by biopharma companies, like this french one :
http://www.invivogen.com/tlr3-ligands
Wounding the scalp with their device, TLR3 activation to create the follicles, and then daily Wnt activation (with maybe growth factors) to help these new hair become terminal. That could sounds good
Based on the TLR3 discovery, it would mean that it can already give scarless hairtransplants (and maybe some donor regeneration) . Maybe some crazy doctors in India or guys like Nigam could already try it to see what it does?
"Our study "uncovers a novel role for a protein that works as a master regulator of regeneration in the skin," says senior study author Luis A. Garza, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. "Medications that turn on this protein have the powerful potential to decrease scarring as healing of wounds takes place, thereby promoting skin and hair follicle regeneration. The clinical translation of this work is promising because work has already started, says Garza. Drug companies are already developing products to activate TLR3 to trigger the immune system, and these same products could be tested to promote regeneration."

Concerning money and puretech, there's also this from 19june2015:
PureTech raises $171 million in latest London health listing
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/purete...065528517.html
Boston-based PureTech Health kicked off its London listing on Friday, raising $171 million to fund further product development in the latest life sciences float in Britain.
The U.S. health technology firm, which has on its board Pearson's former chief executive Marjorie Scardino and former Sanofi chief executive Chris Viehbacher, said its listing valued the firm at 364 million pounds ($578 million).
The offer price was set at 160 pence per share.
The group specialises in building a portfolio of early-stage science and technology ideas in the healthcare sector, typically from academia and nurturing them into commercially viable businesses.
The focus is particularly on the convergence of new technologies in healthcare. Many traditional tech companies, such as Google and Apple, are now investing in health, leading to new opportunities for merging different approaches to treating patients.

It's just an application for a patent which will likely be granted. It doesn't mean anything.
Honestly, until you read "Follica bought by (insert major pharma) several hundred million dollars," don't get excited. That's what an effective Follica would be worth, at a minimum. IF they achieve that, they will be bought. This is just more of the same.
The best hope for anything in the short term is bim and CB. Bim we'll know about within the next few months, and CB within the next year.

CB within the next year?? Not 2021?

He's referring to phase 2 results. Cb is coming in 2021 if everything goes as planned.

You may want to try the golden formula of Eldarlmario. Bim isn't a golden bullet.

CB0301 in 2021....it really sucks....
Why Kane don't provide 20g/cb at 300$ ? They need to practice cheap price...even nobody will buy it !
CB0301 is very powerfull, but waiting 2021 is too far....
I really hope Setipiprant will do a good thing

If Follica manage to finally come up with a treatment to create new HF then it will only be a matter of time until you can grow one fully out of stem cells. You will be able to follow the process from the beginning and it will certainly lead to a new era. Follica are being insanely secretive for a reason - They are basically giving the base for stem cell grown hairs, essentially the full cure with no meds. Who knows they could already be in talks with say Tsuji labs ect, covering all areas.
Obviously thats how I would go IF i had this treatment and IF it worked haha,
