They are already creating 3D hair follicles, so 10 years it's quite a depressive timeline I think lol
Do you see how 3D bioprinting progress? this technology have NOTHING to compare with intercytex and aderans methods. It's like day and night
Please have a look on bioprinting evolution and all the business predictions in this area for the years coming. If you have money put it in! hehe
for me we can't even realise what will be the bioprinting technology in 3/5 years it will be unreal, it's an open new world and we will have the solution for our hair. The 10 years timeline is more for solid organ like liver, etc .
skin, hair follicles, sweat glands, thyroid gland, will be the first organs therapies available, so we are kind of lucky in our nightmare

That's an amazing technology. And lacazette is right, the developpement in this field is just outstanding and its pace will be bigger and bigger. I think in 10 years it will be widely available for creating hair follicles.
And thanks again lacazette for your positive input to this forum

Did no one read their article? 6 years for commercialisation. And using skin grafts isn't exactly difficult to move from rats to humans.

I like how all the coverage of this is obliquely moving around the obvious consequence that they're going to actually be able to replace your skin. It's going to be one thing seeing bald people disappear, quite another seeing old people walking around with fresh, unblemished, young skin.
