20 Years old (21 next month) and curious about hair.

I would just like to begin by stating that I am not too stressed over the idea of hair loss. I never thought about it until I heard that it is your maternal grandfather who determines your hair genetics. I later researched this and most deem it false, however I would still like to know.

Here are some details: my maternal grandfather developed a bald spot when he was my age and now, at 60, has a huge bald-spot with a little tuft of hair at the front (his hairline is almost still intact, but he keeps it pretty short). My paternal grandfather is now 74 and has a thin, but full head of hair. My father has a 'dracula' hairline at 48.

I have the feeling that I may follow my father's side and have some recession and thinning later in life. Despite my research I must affirm that it does not stress me, I just like to be prepared for all eventualities.
