    where to get finasteride? UK

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

After so much thought and consideration i decided to go to the chemist today and they wanted £45 ****ing pound for 30 (1mg) finasteride tablets! Why? My dr told me 'they get it for around £4 or £5' but the pharmacy may put a bit extra on top.

I need to find a safe/legit site to buy generic finasteride from, i read a few things about people having to cut them up into smaller doses, which shouldnt be a problem.

I am in the UK btw.

    Thank you again.

that's the normal price for merk propecia here in the UK.

You might want to ask someone who is going to spain to get proscar, because you can get it without prescription over there. You can get 30 proscar (30 x 5MG finasteride) tablets for 30 euros, I think. It works out pretty cheap, but you need to split the tablets, obviously.

There is also a legit GP in the UK that will prescribe you proscar off label over email etc, but I wouldn't know how to contact him.

It's Dr Steven Edgar. I can't remember his email but just use the search bar and type his name in and it will come up in a post. I use him and he's legit. Got recommended by spex. It isn't off label. You fill in a form and he sends a letter to your gp to say you're using it but he posts the medication to you. He offers branded propecia and generic and he offers generic 5mg fin as well.

My GF is Spanish so I spend quite a lot of time in Spain, although I'm the UK right now. Does anyone know if you can buy 1mg Propecia over the counter in Spain for a cheap price? (i.e. as opposed to 5mg Proscar which I'm not fond of having to chop up)

You can, but I doubt it's that much cheaper.

                I'm guessing that 30 x 1MG propecia is like 30 euro's (same as 30 x 5MG proscar).

It's still effectively cheaper than buying it in the UK, and doesn't require you to beg and plead with an authority figure.

Haha yeah having lived in Spain for a few years I really did notice that their public healthcare system has a much more 'let's just get on with it' mentality, where as in the UK you can be waiting months to years for the same treatment.

Cool well I'm in Spain beginning of this October so I will see what I can get my filthy mitts on, and post a thread here.

My partner's from elsewhere in Europe, always complains about the NHS, how impossible it is to get treatments or specialist appointments compared to her country's public health system.

Is Dr Edgar still around these days? Need to reknew my prescription real soon...

Yeah it's an absolute mission for me just to get an appointment with my GP, have to call up at bang on 8:30am then keep redialling 50 times until I manage to get through, the UK population has outgrown the NHS unfortunately.

Yep Dr Edgar is still about, I emailed him a couple of weeks ago regarding the possibility of starting on fin, he emailed straight back.

                        Hi people,

I am a British and thinking to buy Finasteride on large amount online for cheaper rate. However,I have been informed that cost of Finasteride can vary greatly depending on where you get it. Also I keep hearing that people often become victims of counterfeit medications when buying online.

As counterfeit medications can lead to serious health problems, I need to find a safe place online to buy Finasteride.

                        Thanks in advance

                          Help me compare Finasteride prices

I just found the price of Finasteride varies from store to store. So, how do I compare Finasteride prices across the stores in UK?

Hi martinnathan i can provide you with a dr that i believe might frequent these forums, he has provided a great service, all legit ( ex he will inform your gp and have it on your file that you are prescribed it privately)

Let me know if you need it still.
                            Peace

The fin i take is proscar (for bph) the drs prescribe that as an enlarged prostate is a medical issue...where as hairloss is not considered as a threat........still, the same drug.
