Hair loss with very red, inflamed scalp

Hi everybody. I'm 18 and I've been monitoring my hair loss for the last few months since I've been worried about it. I went to a dermatologist who stated I had seborrheic dermatitis which caused the hair loss and that once the dermatitis was under control the hair would grow back. **Just a note: I very much agree with the diagnosis, since I have had dandruff, very oil scalp, and the little yellow scales I can pick off of my scalp, so I do believe I have some scalp condition, probably SD** So I started using a prescribed corticosteroid as well as a routine of nizoral, selsun blue, and head and shoulders. They stopped the itching but the redness and soreness are still here, and they've gotten worse in the past month.
The only thing that has changed in the past month has been that I started using a treatment that another dermatologist suggested, called LiftinMd, about a month ago. It's a shampoo and conditioner, as well as a topical treatment that contains "HRS-10", which is "high in biochanin a." I have not been using the shampoo that much, but I have been using the conditioner and topical treatment. I thought that might have caused the inflammation but I looked biochanin a up and all the studies show it's actually anti-inflammatory.
So I'm not sure what to do. Do I just need to get a stronger corticosteroid? Or is the dermatitis not the right diagnosis? I'm heading to a hair doctor Monday, so I'll ask him.

Here is a (pretty poor) picture of my left temple(worst part) from January before any treatment for anything: https://i.imgur.com/kW0rvJd.jpg
Here is a much better picture of my left temple from a couple days ago:

    Thank you for the help.

Thank you for the help Dr Rashid, I will ask about that when I go on Monday. I just have one question, do you think a scalp condition could cause this kind of hair loss? Just wondering. Thank you again.
