    10 month update:

The first two pictures being the crown, my friend took these for me, and actually I had been out running errands in the warm humidity and it was pretty windy as well. So keep in mind, I had not run a comb through it since first thing in the morning, and this is going through the day being very active.

The next few pictures showing the frontal area-the way my hair falls I've taken a few different pictures, just how it lays, and also pulled back so you can see the hairline.

If you are reading this and other threads thinking about getting a HT, I will tell you that over the past almost year, having Spex be on Dr. Alexander's team has put me at ease and given me the confidence of being able to reach out, ask questions, and get advice...and from someone of his caliber and expertise on hair loss and HT surgery has been truly remarkable. If you're sitting there thinking about a HT and have questions and want an honest opinion, I would highly recommend you reach out to Spex/ Dr. Alexander's team. Of course, I'm a little bias because this time last year I had a huge bald spot in my crown & no hairline in sight, and today I look at pictures from the holidays and this spring with a frontal hairline and a crown full of hair!

At any rate, this forum is about information to help people, and I always said if I had HT I would tell my story! Hope this helps anyone looking and trying to decide on getting a HT.

It looks like you had good growth-- the crown is filled in and the front hairline looks great.

It seems the doctor built the new hairline around existing hair in the front 1/3 and also used many grafts in the crown.

My concern is this: what happens if you lose that anchor hair in the frontal 1/3? You'll be chasing a hairline.

I don't know if you're on Propecia but you now SHOULD be-- and for life to protect that middle third.

Not trying to be an alarmist or a downer but it seems like you got the hair transplant just a little too soon.

Thanks for kind remarks SMH4 and Hal, I really do appreciate it!
I am on Propecia daily. I totally agree, it's important to keep on Propecia. If for some reason I do have some loss in the future, I would not hesitant going back to Dr. Alexander for another procedure. I am very glad I chose Dr. Alexander and went to Phoenix.

Just wanted to post some pics from my 13 month mark, which was August 1.

The first 2 pictures are before my surgery. The following 4 pictures are from this week.
