IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
Dr. Lindsey Just over a year out from "frontal U" McLean VA
This fellow stopped in last week for med refill. Turned out that I hadn't seen him since suture removal and scar check. He's grown in nicely and has a hairline that fits his face.
Shown are preop, intraop, 1 month scar check, and 14 month pics with a short video.

Readers will recall that I call these cases where we work around the "tuft" of hair up front "frontal U" cases, as the shaved and transplanted recipient area looked like a "U" the first few times I did this kind of case and it stuck in my lingo.
The advantage of the U is that by preserving that tuft...people don't look as noticeable after the transplanted hair sheds...its helps frame the face. The disadvantage is that if that hair is destined to "go"...we'll need to come back to deal with it later.
