Dr. Lindsey and son moderate and present at International Cosmetic and Hair meeting

A few weeks ago I was asked to be session moderator at an International Symposium on Cosmetic Surgery and Hair Restoration. It was quite an honor to meet hair doctors from India and Southeast Asia.

Also, my son, now a senior in high school, presented his research on placing hair into scar tissue...a followup on a paper he'd presented to the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in January. He also presented his poster work on our series of transplanting hair into kids who have lost hair from radiation treatments. Long term readers of this forum will recall several cases we've done on these kids, and will also know that I got into it because my daughter had radiation to her brain and we thought I'd need to transplant her. Fortunately she didn't need hair work but there is NOBODY more motivated to help these kids and their families than me as a result of Julia's illness.

I'm proud of my son giving his 4th medical symposium lecture while still in high school.

Attached are pics of us. He's certainly more photogenic than me....takes after his mother.
