Default Advice required - the big 3

    Hi there,

I have been using propecia for 1 month now with no results, as expected, except maybe some more thinning in top. I am starting nizoral every third day for the past week or so.

I have just purchased Regaine Foam 5% (UK Rogaine).

I need advice today to see if I should wait more months before I start Regaine to show the full effects of propecia only on me, or should I go all guns blazing and start this topical today in order to get faster results?

Any personal stories or guidance will be appreciated, thanks

Propecia doesn't work the same for everyone, some people don't notice anything, some notice results in 3 months, while others don't notice anything for over a year.

I use finasteride only and it really took some time to get the results (4-5 months).
Many men try big3 and report good results. I haven't tried it, but think it is a good idea to start the big3 treatment now instead of waiting till propecia will show you results.

Being one month on Propecia is way too little of a time span to get results from that treatment. Give at least 4-6 months, and you'll know how well you're maintaing by then. At around the two month mark, you should be noticing benefits from Finasteride. Using 5% Minoxidil foam is beneficial to promote hair growth, and is helpful at treating AGA.

I recommend that you add a Ketoconazole shampoo into your treatment plan, a mild one such as Regenepure DR. It helps to lower AGA related inflammation, gently cleanses, and helps to keep the scalp healthy. Using a Ketoconazole shampoo isn't a must, though is recommended.
