Another study by other researchers in 2013 regarding Wnt signals:
    http://www.nature.com/jid/journal/v1...d2012446a.html

"Activation of β-catenin was shown to be of central importance for hair development and cycling. Recent progress brought more understanding to how Wnt signaling is regulated during hair follicle generation and regeneration, telogen–anagen reentry, and extra-follicular macro-environmental modulation. This new understanding presents multiple possibilities to fine tune Wnt signaling for desired hair growth."

To manage these clinical conditions, it is important to understand molecular pathways that regulate the number, size, growth, and regeneration of hair follicles. Wnt signaling has a fundamental role in this process. We need a deeper understanding so that we can reliably adjust Wnt levels in existing follicles. In sum, the studies reviewed here have future translational value for skin regeneration following severe wound injury and in the context of tissue engineering. Tuning the levels of Wnt ligands can modulate the number and growth of hairs directly. On the basis of this new knowledge, we now know that Wnt activity can be modulated by adjusting the secretion of Wnt ligands, altering binding of ligands to receptors, inhibiting β-catenin translocation, or by regulating extrafollicular dermal Wnt and Wnt inhibitors. "

In 2013 it was on mouse studies, now 2015 it's on humans trials phase 2 #IamSamumed haha

Their original patent, under company name Wintherix, was filed in 2011. With regard to hair loss, they referenced a paper in 2008. That 2013 paper was probably old news for them.

"Preparation of skin extract for hair follicle neogenesis"

"We screened and successfully identified protein extract and a ****tail of specific protein mixtures that are able to induce hair follicle neogenesis "

"With this technology, hair follicle neogenesis can be induced without expansion of hair follicle dermal papilla cells from the patients. The cost can be reduced."

"Protein extract or ****tail of specific proteins can be used in (A) As a drug for local administration to induce hair follicle neogenesis; (2) Preparation of bioartificial dermis or bioartificial skin: addition of the extract in bioartificial skin or bioartificial dermis can induce hair follicle neogenesis; (3) In vitro cell culture: addition of this recipe to cultured fibroblasts can confer the fibroblasts trichogenic capability."

Is it can be the cure? Sung jan lin is quite prominant in eastern area
last month he came to Korean dermatology congress and had presentation about hair regeneration
The presentation is restricted to the dermatologist that I don't have more info
anyway considering their previous researches, it is worth for us to keep watching his research. I think he can bring us 'the cure'

    Yes good idea FooFighter

If their coktail of proteins are strong enough to induce follicle neogenenis without expansion of dermal papilla cells, there's a high chance that this ****tail could rescued damaged existant follicles !

Cause as we can see in this other study : http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25557326

They succesfully restore a human damaged follicle with injecting dermal papilla cells

So I really think their coktail of protein could help restore our damaged follicles we have

I don't get it. Why don't they just start injecting this ****tail into our scalps and regrow our hair?
