New Member to the board and 6 months hair loss results

    Hey folks

Im from denmark and new to this forum. My hairloss started when I was 18 with quite bad thinning temples. My hair was then stabile until the age of 24-25. When I was 25 my widows peak in my hairline started to vanish but did not act upon it yet. Then 3 months before my 27 years birthday my scalp started to itch like crazy and became very oily and started to shine through the hair. For the next 3 months i was Shedding like a mad person. Up to 200 hairs a day, hair came off every time i ran my hands through it. 1. January 2015 i decided that if i wanted to keep my hair, i needed to act, and act fast that is. For the last 6 months i have been on the hair regime you see below... Please comment if you see any difference hairwise or if you have any additions to the regime i would like to hear that to.

    Hair Loss Regime:

    Propecia:

    Week 1, 1 mg MWF
    Week 2, 2 mg MWF
    Week 3, 3 mg MWF
    Week 4: Break from Finasteride

    Minoxidil:

2 Ml solution at PM in thinning norwood area

    Nizoral:

    Twice weekly
Head and shoulders Zinc pyrithione twice weekly

    Supplements daily:

    Multivitamin
    40 mg Zinc
    2 mg cobber
    450 mg Magnesium

sounds like your on your way. But, how did you come up with that unusual finasteride usage time table? I think it's better to just consistently take 1.25 mg daily.

I have actually been taken it daily... upping the dose from 0,25 mg to 0,5, 1,0, 1,5, 2, even 4 mg... but I feel like if i take it daily my body simply adapt to it... Because after 5 months i started to get that whispy hair, oily scalp, shedding... So to avoid drug tolerance, reflex hyperandrogenicity im planning on trying this cycle thing and see how that goes...

I got the inspiration to maybe do the cycling dose of propecia from this earlier thread
