Finasteride and thyroid medication?

I read somewhere its bad to take finasteride if you have thyroid problem?

I recently ( about 3 months ago) got diagnoised with thyroid problem, Have thinning has only rapidly occured in the last 10 months. So Im not sure should I start fin?

I started for less then 2 weeks but went off it due having bowel movement problems
