I don't know if this is old news or if it is worth getting exited about it.

I just don't trust all this bs about the hair becoming androgen resistant with the replicel treatment. Maybe the new follicles will.

FUE is the only permanent fix at the minute I was Norwood 4 and just had 4600 grafts with Transept in Turkey, 1220 gbp, including hotel 2 nights and transfers everywhere plus recovery med, at this price it's affordable to everyone, I've got a pic but haven't got anywhere to link it to only cam out of op a few hours ago and can't sleep, results won't show for few months but delight with the look already transformational, med lasted me 7 years and topik 18 months, hopefully this will last me but in another 10 years I imagine I can get full density back

Meant transest, damp predictive text.

why is the article writing about iPS cells? replicel never used iPS cells to expand their DSC cells. or did they change the protocol? a switch from classical in vitro multiplication to iPS generated cells is a huge change.
because, the question never was answered, if replicel was able to multiply DSC cells without losing all the hair characteristics.
iPS cells would eliminate those multiplication problems, but only if they figured out how to convert iPS to DSC cells.
did anybody read iPS in conjunction with replicel elsewhere? this would be very surprising.

I think the mention about iPS cells is a misinterpretation by the authors. The information comes from the Japanese Yahoo article they link to.
I would assume their Phase I/IIa results were poor because the DSC cells did lose their inductive properties. They used a high dosage and said they were dosing down (see TBT Interview years ago). Hopefully a combination of improved cell culturing and fewer passages will yield more potent DSC cells and more growth. Knowing our luck though, we will find out 3 years from now that it is no improvement.
