Initial shed on Rogaine lasts how long?

Hi, how long does the initial shed you go through when starting the use of Rogaine last? I'm in the 4th week and the shedding seems to be getting worse each week. When does it stop? I've read I can expect to see growth in 4 months, haven't seen anything about when the shedding stops. Thx!
