Small hairs not growing? Why? P.. With pics

    Hi all,

I have noticed that I have very small, very thin hairs on my head (Circled in Red) that don't seem to grow at the same pace / thickness / maybe not even at all like what I would consider my usual hair (Circled in Blue) I am on 1.25mg of Fin every day and around 8 weeks ago I added Kirkland minox liquid into my regimen.

Do you think the Minox could be stopping these thin hairs / dots growing? Or, has the Minox forced them into some kind of hibernation transition phase and they may fall out and come back thicker?

    What do you think?

Those are miniaturized hairs and are a natural consequence of the balding process. I really don't think that minoxidil is stopping them from growing, however, if you are a responder to minoxidil you may indeed shed those hairs and regrow minoxidil dependent hairs.

Cosmetic improvement results from taking finasteride usually come after 1 year of usage, and the maximum regrowth from minoxidil usually come after 16 weeks of usage.
