i am 17,anyone who accepted their hair loss??

i am 17, i shaved my head lots of time,i shaved my head continuously for about 15 days thinking i might accept that look, but somehow i didnt felt that way, their is some type of fear inside me due to hairloss,i cant read it clearly,is it of women,or fear of being made fun, etc.,Anyone who accepted their hair loss by shaving head, does it really work,i think main reason i didnt accepted my shaved head was due to i wear glasses(myopia) thats why it doesn't suit me,how do we gain acceptance of hairloss, if anyone have got it then please share it,i am frustrated by it

Hey man, I'm a fairly young guy 24 now, looking back I was about 17 when I started losing my hair. It was a real bitch and can still bother me slightly from time to time. I've been shaving my head with a razor for about a year and a half now. I wear hats a lot but I always did, I don't really have a problem taking them off though. But I can say that sometimes there's a bit of an insecurity there. I guess my main problem with it is being looked at and classified as a "bald guy". I think that's what bothers me the most. Really and truly that's all self inflicted though. Because no matter what you read here on this informative, yet depressing site, people DO NOT care about your hair. That's all there is to it. They're too worried about their own hair or their lack thereof. It's getting easier for me every day. I'm learning to be open and very cool with it. So if shaving your head is an option to you, do it! I can guarantee it does and will look better than thinning hair. Sometimes I think about growing mine back out, then I remember the sorry excuse for hair that I shaved off and I feel better about it. There's hope my friend. I'm living proof of it.
