How long is the post minoxidil shed?

Had to quit minoxidil after like two years of use because I somehow developed seb dermatitis.. I only applied it on my hairline during this time and I was wondering if anyone has quit and how long this shed last after?!?! It's been 7 months and I lose like 30 hairs showering and anytime I run my hands through my hair, about 3-4. Also, even the top of my scalp is thinner now and shedding a lot even though minox never touched this area... Is this normal for this type of shed?

I quit Minoxidil in August 2014 after 7 years of use. I stopped shedding around January or February 2015. So, that was six or seven months after I stopped.

Like you, I shed mainly where I applied minoxidil, but also in adjacent areas.

Hopefully you will stop shedding soon.
