Default Does Fin affect your muscle gains and strength gains in the gym

Any fitness or bodybuilders here notice they are not bulking up nearly as fast, or seeing strength gains as fast while on fin?

No. If your gains are slow you're not pushing your body Or your diet is crap. If I did the same routine/diet I did 10 years ago I'd be a fat turd. I've been on fin for 2.5 years.

I've been on fin for 5 years

While I don't go to the gym as much as I wished, two years ago I was in the best shape of my life, and the strongest I've ever been. But I thank that to changing from bodybuilding style splits to a more strength oriented workout.

Fin definitely didn't seemed to affect my gains.

Prior to beginning the use of Finasteride back in August 2013, I was exercising/weight lifting at home on a regular basis.
My muscles were rather DECENT in size and strength.
Because of a lot happening in my life, work and family-wise, I had slowly stopped weight lifting/exercising on a regular basis.
My bodies muscle tone of course had somewhat reduced in size.
Not any major reduction but I went back to a normal size.
Of course I wondered if Finasteride may have added to my muscles reduction as well.
A couple of months ago I started back on my exercising/weight lifting on a somewhat regular basis.
My muscles QUICKLY began to show size/strength improvements!
Ill be back to how I was looking before, (much stronger although I am older now)
Summer is almost here and thats what 'woke me up' to get to be better fit!!.
Finasteride did NOT cause a negative effect to my muscle tone, not at all.
My actions of the past did that-lol.

    Does workout affects on hair?
    Does weight lifting accelerate MPB?

    Correct. I've noticed no difference.

I remember a member called Peabody (I think) on another forum taking fin and the dude was pretty ripped. Search for that thread

The fact is most of the science talks about its sexual side effects and not much known/studied about its effect on muscle gain. Few say DHT has absolutely no effect on gaining muscle. However, few have mentioned hard time gaining muscle weight while on finasteride. It is supported by a theory that finasteride will negatively affect muscle growth due to the fact it stops 60% or so of the conversion from testosterone to DHT. It is possible that the decrease of free testosterone can influence muscle gains. DHT will actually stop some of the aromatase activity so adding Finasteride will allow for more conversion to oestrogen. Oestrogen is suppressive of the HPTA and causes an increase in SHBG. SHBG will bind more of your test suppressing your gains on cycle and increased HPTA suppression will cause recovery difficulties off cycle resulting in losing more gains that you would otherwise. I am curious to hear few more posts on this topic.
