Nothing but cold showers

For the last month I've been having nothing but cold showers to help my bad body pains, I noticed my hair is less greasy and I hardly loose any hairs in the shower, it seems to have randomly slowed.

Anyone experienced similar effects?

Yes I have too. I switched to cold showers after reading about brown fat's link to folicle blood supply(cold temp signals for the need for your body to create brown fat) and what causes oily hair. For some with naturally oily hair, taking cold showers reduces the amount of oil the skin produces compared to taking hot showers. The reason being, hot showers deplete the oil on the scalp which kicks oil production into high gear, leaving you with oily hair later in the day. Oil has tes in it so not good for your hair.
Another upside to taking cold showers, I never get soar anymore after playing ball and it's a hell of a wake me up in the morn!!

Vic, have you noticed any decrease in the amount of hair you are shedding?

My shedding was brought to a halt about a year ago after a PRP treatment so can't say cold showers helped my shedding since I wasn't shedding. But I have noticed less oily hair and no dandruff with cold showers.
