    Default Minoxidil Heart Related Sides?

I just started 2% minoxidil, aware that the 5% gives me side effects including a rapid heartbeat and stronger heartbeat. I'm the third day into restarting with the 2% and am getting those same side effects although somewhat more mild. Anyone with experience on these side effects please help me decide, should I:

    1) quit now as the side effects will never diminish and can be damaging over time
    Or
    2) continue and see if the side effects diminish with time

I'm just not sure, do initial minoxidil side effects lessen eventually?
