Receding hairline at 17?

Hi guys, I've recently noticed that my hairline around both my temples is starting to recede, more so on the left side. Do you think it is just a maturing hairline or is it hair loss, I turn 18 in a month so I hope I'm not going bald.

No, my dad isn't bald and he's 43. My granddad isn't bald, but its receded a bit but nothing major.

For now, youre totally good.
But keep a close eye on it, im 19 and i have moved way past your point, mine started around 17 too, im a nw2 or 2.5 now.
As soon as you think its getting worse, i suggest posting again in this forum with pictures, just to see if youre not imagining it by then.
Youre not imagining your receding hairline right now though theres something going on, keep an eye on it, if it gets worse, you could start with a low dose 0.25mg of finasteride. I used minoxidil liquid 5%, twice, daily, when i started noticing when i was 17.5 but my hairline just kept receding and im 19 now, just went on finasteride 2 weeks ago. i dont think anything but finasteride will keep it, if it gets worse. minoxidil and nizoral are basically extras.
