    Default Help! New hair lines.

Hello (sorry for my english, not my first language).

I have noticed I'm getting a bit thinner. For a few years ago I thought I was loosing my hair and came to this website for advice (which I got which was great). I decided to wait a few years and seeing what was going on. And nothing happened (it was probably mostly in my head at that time- and I hope a bit it still is, but I highly doubt that now .

I first started worrying when i was cutting my hair and the one doing it said I was getting a bit thin on a top. I was of course a bit shocked and asked my friends- they could not see anything.. I started focusing quite a bit on this and I noticed that I had some "bald spots" on the pot of my head.. Which is actually noticable and when I first pointed them out to my friends they noticed it.

I started for a a week ago on a spescial shampo (NISIM its called), and my started notice that I lost more hair than before (or at least i think more than before, hard to say since I was not paying so much attention to it before it started using it.. but a loose a lot when I shower).

And now, for the first time, I can sometime see my scalp in the light on the front (i believe you call it the crown). When i remove the hair I see that I have a lot of lines going all the cross my head. More than what I see other people have.. I remembered that I met this guy for a few years go that had that.. Like 5 lines where there are NO hair at all, it did not look good. I did not want to ask him what it was, since it was probably a big deal for him :/ And i'm starting to get worried that I'm having the same happen to me.. I mean I deff did not have these lines before, and I'm getting thinner and thinner it would seem almost everyday..

Really freaked me out that I'm getting so thin you can actually see my scalp in the crown (because my hair is seemingly very thick..)

Now is this a normal stage in Alopecia areata? Or has these lines always been there but are getting more noticable now as my hair is going all thin? And what should I do? Should I quit using that shampoo? Should I go see a doctor (but I can not really afford this at the moment...)? Should I see hair specialist?

And after I've showered my hair looks extremely thin.. You can see my scalp all over (when I look at other pictures when I was younger I did not see this).

    Please :/
