    Default hairloss and diet

Ok so it's been almost 10 years since I started to fight with hair loss.
for a last couple of years I had the itchiest scalp, luckily saw palmetto helped that a lot. I know for sure because I stopped taking it for 15 days and the itch started to come back, I started taking it again and the itch is gone.
I also used daily fin and 2 pills of dut a week but they do nothing for the itch.
recently I started a new diet, its been about 3 weeks and I already lost 16 pounds.
but I noticed after 2 weeks, my hair shedding almost 80% decreased. normally it's the opposite way for people who are on a diet.
what I basically do is I cut carbs to a minimum, taking them from vegs and fruit only. I miss pasta pizza and burgers too much carbs supposed to be good for hair since they have B12 as far as I know so that's also strange.
I eat a lot of proteins and a lot of fish. I don't eat sugars.
so I am wondering if the decrease in shedding is related to my new diet because other than that there's nothing new.
I also eat kiwi daily, can it be it? or is it the absence of sugar and carbs? does anyne have an idea?

IMO, diet won't CAUSE mpb in those without the AGA genes. It may greatly accelerate it though with those susceptible to AGA.

Keep in mind, stumptail macaque and mottled starlings also develop pattern balding but no one blames them for poor diets.

As someone with pretty gradual hair loss and knowing others younger than me with bad baldness I would just say we eat generally the same stuff. In prison they generally eat the same stuff yet varying baldness just like outside prison. Just seems hard for me to believe diet is some major factor when I eat the same stuff they do yet my MPB is 10 times slower. Not much evidence diet prevents MPB that I ever saw.
