I love propecia!
If I only knew earlier how good propecia worked, my life would be completely different. So basically im one of the idiots who got a hair transplant, and didnt take propecia until a year later because of all this bull on the internet about it. I just want to tell all you guys out there if your goin to get a hair transplant and you cant take propecia then just move on with your life because you will be playing a never ending game of catch up. Also go to school and become a doctor, or some other type of good career because it is more is to cope with this devastating disease of the spirit when your rich!!!

I agree with both.

I do agree on propecia part. It’s wonderful drug that is over-hyped for its side effects. Sadly, people talk more about its side effects more and less on its actual benefits. It’s true that, information about these adverse events may be important to individual patients, but very little research has been done in this area so far.

Love Propecia. Saved my hair. Sides are nil to zip.

God, I hope this works for me as well. I did the same thing as you. Had a transplant, got TE and destroyed my beautiful thick head of hair. Good just wasn't good enough. Didn't start propecia til about a year and a half after! After 4 months I see a LOT of thinner hair now growing every where. I hope it turns terminal and thick. So, what is your brief timeline with propecia? When did you start seeing real regrowth?

mccarpenter,
How long have you been on propecia?
When did you notice a reduction in shedding?
When did you notice hair regrowth? temples? crown?
How are you currently doing and what is your full regiment?

I myself have never taken Propecia and never tried it before, but I do take Avodart! The 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors are currently the top treatments for Male Pattern Baldness. They work well, and Dutasteride has helped treat my genetic hair loss better than what I expected.

Avodizzle is my backup plan if Finas ever starts losing the war.

Propecia is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss on the vertex and the anterior mid-scalp area. Male pattern hair loss is a common condition in which men experience thinning of the hair on the scalp.
