When taking Propecia, the body creates more receptor sites, thus some peoples hair loss speeds up...

I dont know how much proof there really is of that though. I remember there was a study out there showing propecia did do that, but its not conclusive fact that happens

I pasted the link of mention of the study, idk if it'll work though..
I used finasteride and my hair line and hair is getting worse and I sometimes get pains in my scalp. Also, now my hairs shed with a type of build up on them.. Could be due to the increase in scalp testosterone.

It made my hairline on the left side noticeably worse and also gives me strange head itching.
No offense but most people who say it doesn't have bad effect on the hairline don't seem to have a hairline judging by their hair pics.
I actually had a awesome hairline before using this to fill in a bald spot on my crown from a childhood accident.
Not anymore...

That's scary, I wonder why it makes some of our hair even worse

There isnt much evidence it makes it worse verses natural progression of hair loss you had anyway, but that doesnt mean it couldnt happen. Most of the propecia studies honestly were done on men in more advanced hair loss stages so maybe it never really showed up. I wonder if they tested propecia on men with NW 1 hair to see if it did anything negative verses the usual positive testing.
