Hair has been shedding very rapidly! (pics) *HELP*

Wow, I thought I was the only with this sudden fast shedding. In my case I'm now 33 and 8 months ago I was so happy and never ever thought about losing my hair. As I'm getting older I of course had a little bit receding hairline but in fact of all of my friends I was one of the most healthier and decent hair.

I still cannot believe how it was possible having such a good hair in all my head and then one day I trimmed out and saw something like you in your pics. The months have passed away and every time I trim it I see less and less hair and the area increased.

Also my mom's brothers have full hair and I used to have that type of hair. My father however has some type of baldness but as I don't have his type of hair I never thought in this.

Is it really common or natural to experiment this fast hair loss? how come it;s possible to see so extreme change in so few months?
