I'm confused about estrogen, help....

So I'm a little confused about estrogen and its role with hair loss.
I use to think that DHT was testosterone but after reading a little more I found out that it is estrogen. so I started to think about reducing estroge levels would greatly improve ones hairline. I began investigating supplements that reduce estrogen. but I realized that women have higher estrogen levels and don't lose their hair to the same levels as men. So, is estrogen good fit hair or bad for hair. Should I take supplements that reduce estrogen?

I was wondering if anybody had some insight on this.
