Default Hair line - Please help!

Hey guys. I'm 24 and i'm not sure whether or not my hairline is receding.

I posted here about 5/6 months ago:

My hairline is the same. But I have a few questions.

When your see the shorter hairs at the front of the hairline. Are these hairs that everyone has? I've had them for as long as I can remember. They are varying lengths... some are actually quite long.. Maybe 2 inches. Some are shorter maybe, half an inch? I use heat on my hair a few times a week and I don't know if it's just breakage or receding hairline?

When I wash my hair some hair falls out - again of varying lengths. Some are small some are long.. Is this normal? I'm really quite scared! My hair is long on top as it is (fringe goes to the tip of my nose)

I've always had a widows peak and my hairline has always on a bit like... a W? or a v with 2 little v's at the side then back up. My hairline hasn't changed shape.

I'm more concerned about these hairs at the front of my hair line. My hair is fine as is, but I just have a lot of it!

Thanks in advance. I know it's hard without pics. But hopefully my other post can help?

    EDIT:

    Took this picture -

Can you see the long hairs at the hairline? Like I said... are these normal? - They seem to be all over my head if i pull my hair back in different places.

Still... worried that some hairs are small that fall out and some long - my hair is different lengths. But are short hairs falling out in the shower a sign of miniturization? :/

Chill out man. Yeah... you might have the first signs of a thinning hairline but you are only going to accelerate it if you worry obsessively about it at your age. You've got lots of hair for 23, so look on the bright side. Typically, if your hair is thinning.. it happens in just this way... the hairs with each regeneration do get progressively thinner. With regards to a hairline, that can show up as progressively shorter, thinner, sparsely placed, or broken hairs around the hairline like you are reporting apparently. I would look to my family tree for MPB history... look at old photos of men in your family and ask questions about what age it happened etc. Consult a doctor about propecia and do your homework if you go that route. You can prolong the worst for quite a long time.

    Thanks for the reply Skipstah.

My hair has always been fine but I have a lot of it. I have hair exactly the same as my mothers. Same texture etc but a bit darker. Her father (my grandad) had a full head of hair until the day he died. My father on the other hand went 50-60% bald by the time he died 12 years ago. So that's the main reason I worry.

The more i've searched the more i've come up with these are just normal hairs that are at different stages of growth? I do think some of mine is breakage though - I don't use heat every day but when I do I don't use a protector or anything. I probably should...

Crown, sideburns and temples aren't thinning. Was just concerned about some smaller hairs (not many) falling out when I wash my hair and these stray hairs on my hairline.

Thanks for your advice! Hopefully it isn't receding..
