Default Will prp keep my hair?

This has probably been talked about before, but will prp injections keep my hair and thicken it? I visited a doctor in nj who was/is doing them and he said as long as you keep doing them it will keep the hair you have and thicken minaturized hairs as well as existing hair. I didn't do it with him because he was really pushing it and he also didn't do prp in conjunction with a cell or anything like that.

I hope someone with first hand experience will chime in on this. I was looking in to prp as well.

Yeah I hope so too. Like I said, when I saw the doctor doing it (dr. Rapaport) he said that as long as you keep up with the treatment it will maintain your hair/regrow and thicken hair as well. But he wasn't using acell or anything. He was just doing prp alone.

It depends. I've had it done twice, both times with Acell, and it has maintained and thickened my hair. Not everyone responds to treatments the same and the process used to isolate the platelets and growth factors also makes a big difference. From what I've heard, some places are basically just injecting unprocessed blood back into your scalp. My plan is to have it done every year. The doc I see is Dr Bronner Handwerger in San Diego and I thought he and his staff were great. Hope this helps.
