histogen is dead and almost everyone knows that.
however, it will probably take another 2 or 3 years until they officially admit that they are game over.
so they will still hang around for some time, doing just nothing.

    Not this.

Nobody knows. They have gone quiet. Ignore the negative speculation dude, ignore the good speculation too. Until they say something we don't actually know.

The last we heard from them they were chased away by hoards of balding guys here demanding answers. It is no surprise they don't participate here in the forums.

We will all have to wait and see.

I'm not sure you have enough information to presume that. They went pretty far into the FDA process, so don't think they are dead until a year or two at least.

The picture of their phase iib result wasn't as impressive as their claim to be honest, but I'd still love to have something for minor improvement and maintenance, if they manage to get it into market. They did claim at some medical meeting that they would start phase iii in the US and Japan in 2015, yet sadly till now nothing happened. I can't help but thinking they have either lost the ability or the incentive to continue their job, it's just they are reluctant to admit the failure, or just wanna conceal the truth till the last minute, just like Aderans did years ago.

The picture on their website said 70 something percent. That would be a huge step forward even if it keeps follicles from dying until something better comes along. The last presentation was 5 months ago, that's hardly enough time to say their dead and gone. For all we know they are meeting with investors, there is definitely money in their product.

It's been nearly 3 years since their previous trial was done, and nearly 2 years since they have cleared some legal issues with some troll company, who tried to steal their formula. They have had more than enough time to do a longest phase III trial in Asia as they always claimed, but they did nothing in these years. It's not that somebody stood in their way, not anymore. They were just simply playing freeze or something. They initially claimed that they would have the product available in Asia in 2014. They really could have done that, but we all know the result. It's extremely disappointing to say the least.
