Dutasteride vs. Finasteride

Anyone have an opinion as to which might be better overall, Dutasteride or Finasteride? Has anyone had the chance to try both and could speak of the results of both?

Dut has been shown to be more effective in most studies.

Dutasteride is more effective in lowering DHT levels in the body and for hair regrowth. But it is much more expensive than finasteride that is why most men buy fin. Even the generic version of Dut costs much.
As I know, Dutasteride is used when Finasteride is not giving the desirable effects.

What about the side effects from DUT? I Had asked my physician about making the switch, but he said why make the switch if your are experiencing no sides from the fin.

I've tried both.

Fin slowed down the loss with no sides.
Dut stopped loss and had slight regrowth. Had sides with dut being watery seamen. The sides don't bother me and I continue to use it.

As everyone has mentioned, DUT is more effective than FIN. That also means it comes with stronger sides.

I am considering switching to DUT because after 5 years FIN appears to be losing some of its kick. However, I have heard conflicting opinions about this and it is just a thought.
