Aman, hang in there buddy. We've all been there.
I've been on finasteride for 16 years and have had no side effects. Also, the combination of Finasteride and minoxadil are apparently synergistic; that is, they compliment each other. The third, relatively easy thing you can do is wash your hair 3 times per week wih Nizoral shampoo.
Lastly, there's tons of research being done right now, so better treatments are on the way.

Welcome to the forum buddy! Just remember, we all have our own physical insecurities man. We constantly worry if we are too fat, short, if our nose is too big, if we have acne, if we are too this and that and so on... I can imagine dealing with that in high school must be hard... but listen to this... My friend went completely bald at 18 and is short and chubby... he now has a hot girlfriend and an awesome job and every body loves him. After high school people are forced to be less shallow because they no longer live in the confinement of a judgmental cube. You ask most women and they say they don't care too much about baldness. You tell this to balding guys and they reply, "well they only say that not to look shallow"... and my rebuttal to that would be, then why do you constantly see super gorgeous women dating bald guys?? It sucks man no doubt. I am 32 and just recently dealing with baldness and it has turned my life around... PLEASE KNOW - YOU ARE NOT ALONE. We are all here to support each other.

Thanks for the advice everyone,i am having test coming in a week so i am replying late,i am quite feeling emotionally stable after having discussionw with you.Thanks a lot guys and i have decided and resolved that whatever it takes of me,i will not let hair loss affect my life.Especially Robincurtx,dude i felt quite a relieve after your reply as you are a student of IIT and also going through same thing,well,i will also talk about fin with doctor,i have buzzed my hair so that falling hairs do not shock me,earlier when i used to study or when i wake up from pillow i used to find about 25-30 hairs,it was stomach aching,seriously!
