I look great in the mirror but awful in pictures

Its lighting. Doesn't matter if you have hair or not. Different types of lighting makes you look different. For example cheap fluorescent lights like the ones in home depot and all those huge stores are the worst. They don't properly display color and make you look washed out and strange..
