cowlick or balding?

I have no idea why but just recently i began noticing my cowlick, I've had it my entire life but for some reason i feel like its starting to expand there, maybe its just in my head? If anyone could please take a look at the pictures and tell me if I'm being delusional or not I'd appreciate it.

If you're thinning, I'm thinning. While I think you have a larger "bald spot", mine is slightly bigger overall.

Your best bet would be to look at pictures from the past... not easy finding ones of your crown, but maybe you will.
