Beard hair versus finasteride
I wonder if it is convenient to start finasteride treatment if I had beard hair transplant on my scalp.
We know that body hair is androgen dependent and finasteride decreases body hair but what about facial hair (beard)?
Is there anyone there who had BHT from beard and his surgeon recommended him to start or stay on finasteride?
Which are the experience of finasteride users about beard?, is it noticeable any beard deterioration?
I guess effects on beard mainly depend on individual response, dose and duration. But I would like to have a rough or general idea of what to expect regarding finasteride beard effect in order to include it on my regimen or not after my 1000 beard hair transplant.
Any feedback about this issue would be much appreciated.

I have never heard or read about any clinical studies regarding your specific question and/or any issues of the potential impact that finasteride may have on beard donor when it is transplanted into a new environment such as the crown/scalp.
We do know that the growth cycles of BH can vary and sometimes widely especially when it is transplanted to a new area even without the impact of medications such as low dose finasteride.
You can always consider a small trial session of it and then post-op monitor the regrowth or lack of it before committing to a larger session to see how you respond.

Beard hair is always a good option, finasteride is much an riskier element with half of the chance of being successful.Rather than considering a few better beard supplement would be a better idea.As there will not be any side effect of them and feeding beard is always a better idea.
