Do any of you have any idea why hairloss rate after stopping fin or virtually any treatment is worse than if it was left naturally? That is when people start balding slowly and then start taking treatment, after some years for a reason maybe side effects they stop taking the treatment then their hair loss rate is faster than what it was originally. Their hair follicles shouldn't be affected by the treatment only their dht level. And if they stopped taking the treatment their hair follicles will be affected by dht and they should start miniaturizing at the same rate is they were miniaturizing originally. That doesn't seem to be the case
Why does hair recede faster than normal after stopping fin?

For every twenty questions you ask there are probably one or two partial answers. All this stuff isnt solved in a book or study somewhere. No one knows why that is or even if that happens for everyone or not. Medicine really falls short in a lot of ways like with why or how things work the way they do
Does what you say even happen at all? I dont know if its been proven either way but receptors and the whole sensitivity piece are poorly understood. If anyone else has some more definitive answer I wouldnt mind hearing it. -
That's been the case with me. Two theories: either using Propecia somehow makes your hair hypersensitive to DHT after stopping, or you'e aged several years and your natural sensitivity to DHT has intensified because of age, hence it seems like you're balding much quicker because your 26 year old scalp balds faster than your 22 year old scalp would have, even if you hadn't taken Propecia.Comment

Yeah the truthful and unhelpful answer is just that no one knows. Everyone has a guess or theories but no one knows for sure.Comment
