    Hi there,

i have some Minox powder and trying to dissolve into a topical via dissolving 50mg into 0.3ml of PG (to make 5% when i later add in 0.7ml ethanol as per online instructions), however, it's not dissolving and cant find any tips via google

Pls let me know if you've done this before and can advise

    Thanks!

Do you mean 0.3 liters / 0.7 liters? Instead of ml?

Hi Energizer- meant ml as was looking to just make up a test one application w 1ml rather use larger volumes as would waste materials if didn't mix... Ratios are the same as 100ml/1000ml/etc so I was thinking it shouldn't make a difference?

        You're probably at saturation.

Don't work with 1ml, that's just insane, especially if you don't have an excellent scale.

Scale up to 100 ml (or 500 is better).

Where are these instructions? I have never done this but I would try adding minox to the ethanol first, then bring it up to volume with the ppg. Minox more soluble in ethanol.

Add the minox to the ethanol just a tiny, tiny, tiny bit at a time while constantly stirring.

If that doesn't work you may need a heated stir plate.
