Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy
Is PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy a Viable Treatment for extreme male pattern baldness?

No, it could be beneficial if you still have hair left. However, in extreme male pattern baldness you need to throw the whole kitchen sink at it. Dut, minox, nizoral, PRP and maybe even RU. However, I am not recommending you use RU as it is not FDA approved and could be harmful to your body for all we know.

PRP hair regeneration is a great option for a wide variety of people and reasons including; it is an innovative technique with almost zero downside and tremendous upside. It has been acknowledged as a new effective treatment option for people who have severe forms of hair loss problems. However, in case of extreme baldness, whether it will prove useful or not, only your doctor can decide for you based on your history and current condition. Plus the cost of PRP treatment is considerable, as more sessions may be needed to obtain the desired result. PRP is also being used in conjunction with some hair transplant procedures. At this time there is not yet clinical proof that it works, but the results are very promising. Have a word with your doc.
