    Default post op image variability

Could someone explain why in some immediate post op images of a case where around 3000+ grafts often appear to have irregular and inconsistent graft distribution in the recipient area with almost no grafts in some areas.
In concept if 100cm/sq were transplanted with 3600 grafts then it surely would appear to have roughly 1 graft incision per mm/2 (36g/cm/sq) in all directions as placing a typical 0.7 - 0.9 mm untrimmed fue graft would take up a space which could not be much smaller than its own area. ie placing a single graft at a higher density than 1graft/mm/sq must be a near physical impossibility.
Surely we would see a regular pattern over the 100cm/sq admittedly with slightly more weighting toward the hairline, but not excessively so.

Could you post the example photo or reference the URL so we can have a look?

Can you restate your question in terms of density as measured in FU per cm2...?
