    Default frontal thinning

Question: I am 33, and have noticed some clear miniaturization/frontal thinning, which is easily seen in the attached photos. I'm curious, is this something to be worried about? I don't use minox but an on fin (have been for a few years.) Is this likely doomed to get progressively worse? The third picture is especially disconceerting. Since fin doesn't seem to be helping, I'm just wondering if it's likely to get a lot worse and require surgery (eventually).
    Thanks,
    Charles.

I wouldn't worry if I were you man.

If this is you at 33 and you are maintaining, I don't expect it to be worse, unless you are experiencing like a MASSIVE shed and concurrent psychological trauma. Otherwise, it's natural progress, you'll have awesome hair for life

It's normal for men's hair to thin as they age, even if you haven't inherited male pattern baldness. If there isn't much baldness on both sides of you family, there is a lower probability of advanced androgenic alopecia, aka male pattern baldness. Of course, it doesn't hurt to take good care of your hair. Here are a few do's and don'ts:

Avoid sunburning your scalp, avoid cigarette smoking, try to avoid stress, and avoid excessive alcohol consumption.

Do use a shampoo with ingredients proven to reduce DHT. Doesn't hurt to use Rogaine (minoxidil). Don't fear massaging your scalp and using a brush. Get plenty of exercise. Although, hair loss from nutritional deficiency is rare, it doesn't hurt to use a product like Buried Treasure's "Hair Skin and Nails".
