    Tagamet is anti-androgen

    Tagamet is anti-androgen
    Cimetidine/Tagamet:
You may be surprised to know that the Tagamet pills that you can buy in the supermarket have been studied as a possible benefit or treatment for pattern baldness. If cimetidine (sold as Tagamet) is taken multiple times throughout the day, it works like an anti-androgen by preventing the androgens from linking to their receptors.

nifty but its always about how powerful and effective it is at doing that. You need a very powerful effect from whatever you use to actually get any kind of results. How powerful is it and how often does it have to be taken?
Also sounds more dangerous with sides and stuff than just using propecia anyways

any anti-androgen will act basically the same as finasteride, posing the same side effects.
