Balding where I part my hair.

I part my hair, but it has been brought to my attention that at the end of where the part is, I'm starting to lose hair (the scalp is visible). At first I thought it was just the natural part, but upon seeing the picture(s), I see it is something more serious.

I'm 23 and this has come as a surprised, as I had always thought I had a head full of hair. What should I do? Am I seriously balding? I'm thinking about paying my dermatologist a visit about this...
