2.5mg of Dutasteride ?

Why don't they make DUT in 2.5mg pills. It's clear from the study it is vastly superior to .5mg !! Currently I take 5 pills a day but it is impossible to continue due to the cost. I know people will talk about side effects from this but I don't feel any different, my sex drive is still through the roof and quite frankly don't care as long as I can stop my hair loss.

Anyone know if 2.5 avodart exists and where to find it ?

Well Dutasteride isn't approved for Hair Loss. I'm guessing 0.5mg is what works best for BPH. If you happen to be very wealthy you could probably take 0.5mg X5 per day. I've found that 1-2mg per week is giving me decent results.

Yes only as it's dose dependant, and I'm loading up on DUT , but I can't do it for much longer as sadly I'm not that wealthy . In trials they did test at .1mg .5mg and 2.5mg so it's strange they didn't release a 2.5mg dose

All you guys have the right idea, but its not safe to stay that high on duty for the long run, so I would suggest doing what I do. I take the one dose of .5 in the morning. Saw palmetto + Beta Sitosterol natural pills for lunch, and........ before bed, I taker the natural dht blocker vitamins like Hair Omega or any other hair loss dht blocker vitamin. Its ten times cheaper that route from amazon. And.... its safer. You will get same results. Trust me, I did the 2.5 for a month and it got me almost all my hair back, but its dangerous for long run. So I came off and immediately started losing hair, I then tried the above approach from help from a med school buddy who is in dermatology and I'm slowly getting back to the same results but much safer. By the way, I'm not a doctor, but I'm in med school to be one, so I spend a lot of time studying this stuff, as I am also getting my hair back. Hope this helps.

I'm on 0.5 mg a day for about few months.
Hair looks great initially, I see thickening and some regrowth.
