    Minoxidil Foam Application Questions

I've been applying Minox Foam twice a day for about a month and all is well until now but I had some concerns about the application.

    1) I am a NW2, is it normal for one can to last 2 weeks for me?
    2) I am applying one 3 cm^3 to each temple, the front, the vertex and the crown. Is it too much given that I'm an NW2? Am I transforming good hairs into dependant ones?
    3) I sometimes worry that I didn't cover all areas of thinning, I'm thinning all over. Does the Minox travel under the scalp to reach all the needed follicles?
    4) After the application, my hair is real thick and I like the look but I keep thinking the Minox is on my hair instead for my scalp. Is that normal? Does it mean my scalp isn't getting enough product?
    5) If I don't shower between applications, is that bad?

    Thanks in advance!!

Shampoo and conditioning is probably a good idea considering the buildup from some minox products may leave your head greasy and if it is on your hair a lot as you mentioned then it will cause your hair to stick and become greasy looking which in turn means less volume which ultimately reveals more bald patches
I personally feel as if my scalp is getting a much better treatment if my scalp has been washed. (it feels different and not so sticky)

I'm sorry no one else has replied to you and that I cannot really help any further but I will check in just in case I can think of anything else to help.

definitely shower and shampoo between applications, minox can get greasy.

if you dont just wash it out with plain water the next morning( i usually do this and my hair ends up looking thicker that day)

Get on Fin if you havent already!!

Oh yehh I'm on the Big3 bro!
Minox twice daily. but pouring it a can every two weeks approx. cuz my hair's too thick and long. I wanna feel the minox on my scalp, and it takes a lot for me to feel that.
0.5mg fin daily though for now.
Niz twice a week and Regenepure the rest of the time.

                2) If the hairs are going to fall out, they are going to fall out. Minox doesnt change that, it only helps them stick around longer and even gets some to grow a bit.
                3) Yes, it has very good penetration and diffusion, especially the foam variant.
                4) This is interesting, ideally you want to rub it in so it gets down to your scalp.
                5) The comments on the look are good ones, but it is not toxic if you leave it on. In fact, some studies have shown that once an application(if done at night and left overnight) is as good as twice a day application thus saving your supply.

I should also mention, like everything else in medicine, not all procedures/medications work in all patients all of the time.
The answers I was looking for! Thanks Doc!
