Time after hair transplant surgery

I had my hair transplant surgery from chicago before 5 months ago. I am doing everything according to the doctor suggestions. The hair is start to growing on bald area where hair is transplanted but its grows very slowly, So can anyone tell me how much more time it will take when I have thick hair on my head..
