Skin softener after FUE
I'm on a day #3 after my second FUE procedure. After the first HT I was advised by the surgeon to apply body lotion onto recipient area 30 minutes before hair wash for at least 10 days post op. The doctor supplied me with both shampoo and body lotion (both SebaMed).
This time, after the second procedure, I've got the shampoo only and no instruction about any skin softener. I emailed the doctor and asked him some questions, but while I'm waiting for his reply I'd like to hear a third part opinion. Is it important to apply any lotion to the recipient area before the hair wash? Does applying it helps the scalp and grafts to recover faster? Or it's just to remove redness and itching?
