Hello, my name is Dan. I am 25 years old. My hair has been thining for 4-5 years now.
I have been on generic propecia for a few years. I have noticed decent results, nothing fantastic.
I have a close friend who has also been experiencing hair loss. He lives a few hours south and we see each other a few times a year. I saw him yesterday and his hair looked much much better, thicker and fuller. He told me that he used Rogaine, propecia, Nizoral, and lasercap.
I am not talking about miracle regrowth, but it was noticeably different. I have done some research on the lasercap and have found mixed reviews, however the results I noticed on him are enough for me to give it a try.
I have noticed some products on ebay with extremely similar specifications for 1/3 of the price. 272 pulsating laser diodes at 650nm at 5mw.
I was wondering if anyone here had experience with any of these knock offs or if I should take the plunge and just invest the $3000.
And lastly, I am tempted to use Rogaine foam because of easiness of use, however from looking over this site I have noticed many different kinds with additional ingredients. Are any of these significantly better than the others.
